Forward Motion
I’ve been back from Providence and A Better World by Design for about a week now, concluding a rather busy (and quite interesting) conference season with events like the Open Hardware Summit and World Maker Faire and such. I do plan to write up some comments on all of these events (eg parallels between the open source/free software world circa dot com bubble, and the nascent open hardware community) as my thoughts solidify. (A Better World spans quite a wide range of topics and disciplines, so that will be its own thing.) Also, I should put together a better web site for myself (something I’ve been putting off for ages)—whether it’s simply making better use of this type of microblogging system, or something else entirely. Not sure yet.
